Where a food product is described as halal, we review the ingredients and available supplier information before listing it.
Gelatine
We check whether gelatine is absent, plant-based or supported as halal. The relevant product page should state the available information.
Additives, carriers and flavourings
We consider the source of ingredients, not only the E number. Where information is unclear, we ask the supplier or leave the product unlisted until it can be verified.
Postal products only
At present, our online store offers products suitable for postal delivery. Fresh, chilled, frozen and meat products are not available to order online.
