Ordering and delivery
Is delivery really free?
Yes. Free to the UK mainland on every order, no minimum spend. Some remote Highland, Island and Northern Ireland postcodes carry a courier surcharge, which is shown at checkout before you pay.
How long will my order take?
Ambient groceries 2–4 working days. Foam and made-to-measure items are cut to order, so 3–7 working days. Bespoke covers up to 10.
Do you deliver outside the UK?
Not at present. We are focused on getting the UK right first.
Fresh, chilled and frozen
Why can't I get meat delivered?
A courier network cannot hold meat at a safe temperature over two or three days in transit. We are not willing to gamble with that, so fresh meat, fruit and vegetables, chilled and frozen items are collection only from our Glasgow shop.
Can I mix collection and delivery in one order?
Yes. Ambient items are posted and the fresh items wait for you at the shop. Checkout handles it.
Can someone else collect for me?
Yes — reply to your confirmation email with their name.
Halal
Is everything you sell halal?
Every food product, yes. See Our Halal Promise for what we check and how.
Are your sweets gelatine-free?
Every sweet we sell is either gelatine-free or made with halal-certified gelatine, and the product page says which.
Foam and made to measure
Can you cut foam to my exact size?
Yes — any dimension, any thickness, no minimum. Send the measurements with your order.
What if I order the wrong size?
Cut foam is made specifically for you, so it cannot be returned unless it is faulty or we cut it wrong. Read the foam buying guide before ordering, or ask us — we would rather check first.
Which density do I need?
Depends on the job. The buying guide has a table for it.
Returns and problems
What is your returns policy?
14 days on non-perishable items in original condition. Food, fresh produce and made-to-measure items cannot be returned unless faulty. Your statutory rights are unaffected.
Something arrived damaged.
Email us with a photograph within 48 hours and we will replace or refund it. No argument.
Trade and bulk
Do you supply restaurants and caterers?
Yes — we carry catering sizes and take bulk orders. Get in touch for pricing.
Do you take Qurbani and Aqiqah orders?
Yes, including whole carcass. Talk to us in the shop or contact us to arrange.
